Video Editing, Branding and Adding Disclosures:

Get video onto your computer. If texted by Nathan then copy and paste it into your email and send it to yourself.
Once video is emailed open it up and download video onto your desktop for start of processing it.
Open Clipchamp Video Editing program. You can go to https://clipchamp.com/en/ or type into Windows search box in lower right corner of desktop. Just type Clipchamp and it will open. (This is a video editing software offered through Microsoft via Windows.)
Click Start for Free button and register to open this program.
On Home screen tab appears Create a New Video Start from Scratch - click it to start editing of video.
Click Import Media blue button and upload the video you want to work on and edit.
Click Import Media blue button and upload your copy of the ATWM logo with transparent background so it appears on left side of platform.
Once uploaded video thumbnail will appears on left column of platform.
Take your mouse and place the curser over the video thumbnail and drag it to the right placing it into the video box to begin working on it.
Now the video will appear in it's entirety in the video editing platform so now your are ready to edit, brand and add any disclosures that LPL Compliance has requested during the approval process. Make sure you have the disclosures that need to be added either in your email or on a notepad so you can easily copy and paste them during this editing process.
Play and watch the video to make sure it works properly in Clipchamp. Take note of the total time of video without editing.
Place your mouse onto the ATWM logo you uploaded and drag it placing it next to the end of the video sequencing time line. Place it right next to the end of video so it runs smoothly without interruption.
If there is a gap simply drag the logo left closer to the video's last image for a smooth transition.
Click the text button on the left column to start the branding part of the process.
Once opened scroll down roughly 14 rows and place curser onto the text style called Plunging and Title which has a blue vertical line with two lines for the placement of text and drag it placing it above the video located in the timeline beneath the large video image. Once its in that placement we can move this box and drag it to add seconds that it will display on the video. To see it before adding your text simply click the video play button and you'll see how it works as it is played.
Adjust how long you want this text to show on the video by dragging it open or minimizing it to shorten the length. You may also move this box of text along the video channel to start and stop at different intervals during the play time of the video.
Click the Text box on the right hand upper corner to replace the text shown with the text of your choice. I use this feature to illustrate the [email protected] email address as well as the phone number beneath the email address (619) 365-4596.

I also use this text feature a second time placing it at the end of the video and ATWM logo slide to illustrate the LPL Compliance Disclosure page and it may be useful for other illustrations needed. The font can be changed at this time and ATWM uses LATO font for these disclosures but you may choose your font of choice for these illustrations. You would go through the same procedure as above simply placing the disclosures into the text box on the upper right and making sure it looks properly. To align the text on the slide you may need to place the curser onto a sentence and hit the Enter button to move the remaining sentence to the next line. Play around it and make sure the disclosure fits properly when viewed and make adjustments until it appears how you want it to. You can enlarge it and minimize it by dragging the text box back and forth so you'll want to get the feel for it. Make sure you select the font. LATO is recommended for ATWM branding purposes but you may select and change based on your needs.

Review the video by restarting the video and hit play button. Now is the time to adjust, make changes, edits, etc. Once you're satisfied you'll hit the Export blue button and choose 720p quality for most postings on social media i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter b/c they have limits on how large a video can be. Most of these videos in it's unedited format can be 70+ MBs which may be too large on these platforms. If you want a high quality 1080P copy of the completed video you can download now and save a high quality copy which may be uploaded to the Youtube ATWM channel for better viewing quality.

A solution to the large MB videos would be to compress the completed video to reduce the file size of the video so you can upload it into social media without exceeding the file size limits. Follow the compression instructions here.
Open up the compression free tool no account necessary here > https://www.veed.io/video-compressor.
Once opened you'll see the Video Compressor page with a blue button called Choose Video. Click on Choose video then upload your finished video saved from Clipchamp on your desktop.

Now that the video is loaded into Veed.io you'll see the size of the file is listed below the video. Take note of this size. On the left side you'll see Compression Options with a slide you can drag to lower the file size. Choose and slide the setting from Normal to Lower Size.
Choose the button on bottom left which says Compress Video and once it's completed rename the file and download to desktop for social media posting. The video will be saved as an MP4 video format.
