It's true that playing Minecraft on console is really enjoyable. It's basically the same delightful/terrifying experience from PC, albeit in the comfort of your living room. What's not to love? Well, on consoles from the last generation, there was at least one unintentional consequence of the platform The world that was generated by the procedural engine of Minecraft was significantly smaller than what could be created on PC. With Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions coming out in August, this is changing. As development studio Mojang states, "It brings significantly bigger worlds and an even greater draw distance than Xbox 360 Edition." Hot dog!
The PlayStation Vita version will also be available in August should the smaller world of last-gen Minecraft be enough (and it is), There's more good news: if you bought the game on PlayStation 3, you own it on Vita. It costs $5 to transfer from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/XB1 versions. Addictgaming The latter deal only applies for the first year that it's available, so you'll wanna upgrade quickly to secure it for a bargain.
To sweeten the deal more, games that were saved from the last generation/Vita consoles will be able to scale up to current-gen consoles (though it's impossible to go back - beware!). The August version will include all updates to the previous-gen versions. The whole package costs $20. And the creepers are super, super creepy.
