The Omni Kickstarter has a further 20 days to go, and is currently at $970,000 of its $150,000 goal.

For anyone who doesn't have an Omni setup - and for those with onein the future and eventually Minecraft has a brand-new launcher on PC. To play Minecraft 1.6 and any future updates, you'll require the new launcher. The new interface can accommodate multiple usernames in one Mojang account, though the feature isn't currently available by Mojang its own website.
The new system will automatically update without the requirement to manually update. Single-player content will be available offline. Players must be offline in order for this to happen, or the launcher will continue to try to connect to Minecraft servers.
