Sydney remains under an extended lockdown. I have been binging on tv shows and playing a lot when I'm not with my partner or working.



Instead of looking for people in a MMO ( Wow ) I am obsessing over making widgets, finding coal, smelting enough ore and Spaghetti,



Spaghetti in Satisfactory is the imprint you leave on the world. The conveyor belts, pipelines, and electrical wires. When I first started I tried to keep my footprint as small as possible. Despite my desire to use the terrain for the purposes of my employer "Conquer nature, construct multi-story factories and automate to your satisfaction!" I didn't really realize the full extent of possibilities until I began exploring YouTube videos, & problem solving some of my automation difficulties. Glass, steel and concrete castles in the sky.



Take a look at my work and feel despair (dismay at my organized Chaos). I am still grass-based. It's too chaotic for me to manage right now, so I've got concrete constructors set up so that I can start serious building.



I'm the sole person on this Map. The map is huge, and I have not explored even a tiny fraction of it. It's an unresolved conflict. Explore or continue forward. I'm sure I use Biofuel often, so I don't leave for too long. Some of my automation cease to function so I am building more coal-powered stations. I have so far made my water pumps self-sufficient. I'm in need of increasing the power automation as my new train and train tack ( how cool is that? ) are a power suckers so I had it disconnected from my grid.



Early access is limited to Tier 8. I am currently on Tier 7. I am just learning the complexities of aluminum smelting.



My footprint is massive on this planet - it's expanding. Once I get better at automation and tidy up, I'll construct my dream factory with a glass wall in heaven.



the only permanency I have the only thing that I am able to keep in World of Warcraft is my Garrison ( Remember those?) I've left the Christmas decorations up to allow me to transform into a gnome whenever I feel like it. It's a place I visit at times, as it was my first try at player housing.



I loved playing ARK My Tamagotchi dinosaurs that required regular feeding. You could lose your base, or log in every day. Tsa club And you were able to build your base in the way you desired. I felt a part of that gaming world because parts of me were left behind. The world could see my base, my neon pink Saddle and Albino Tyrannosaurus. As a WOW player I exist in pixels. There is no physical evidence or mark that I exist.



I like that sense of permanence, the feeling that the work I create is mine to keep forever.



I am currently trying to find the technological advancements in a satisfactory manner, but am enjoying the process of problem solving and complete control over where I can develop. To cross rivers or oceans, you need to ramps, but to no avail, in order to reach the drop pod. or just because I wanted to know what was ontop of a really tall rock. It's all there until I decide to get them off.
