"Here's why I am against fully integrated Socialism in the U.S. I don't want, and you don't want other people telling you how much money you are allowed to make. That sounds really dictator-y to me. I want a smaller government that gives the people the personal and economic freedom that they deserve. Listen, people, the more you try to command the economy the worst it is going to get. I read a lot of Alan Watts, he was a philosopher. And one of his ideas is that when one tries to become happy he just makes his misery worst. He says it's like trying to smooth rough water with a cast iron. It just makes it even more rough. In this case happiness is economic prosperity and roughness is a recession. The more you try to control the economy the more you are trying to smooth rough water with a cast iron. It just doesn't work that way. Most people do not have an adequate understanding of how the economy is supposed to work. And because of this we have these left-wingers with their socialistic, communistic thought and they, sadly, have no clue that this isn't how it works.
