New on Realms - Curses And Cacti

Bow Blitz is a map for PvP players who prefer the bow. It involves kicking your opponents in the head with arrows and attempt to throw them into a vast void. SKINNIGHT There are a variety of arenas for players to pick from, and a thorough understanding of the terrain can be beneficial in combat. Power-ups are also useful as they can give you an advantage over your adversaries. Play with your friends, play alongside bots, or even become friends with bots. I believe friendships are real and valid regardless of what other people think.

This week, we're testing a new segment where we bring you the latest news on which maps from the Realms library are getting the most play. We recommend you to play all of the different games, but if are interested in knowing more about the latest trendsetters then here's the information:




Minigames - Total Playtime, Last 30 Days

It's clear that I've only included minigames and adventure maps in this list. World templates are kind of odd because they can become the primary Minecraft world and even a few people on a single world template can play for hundreds of hours and alter its layout. The other categories Experiences and Inspiration have a small number of maps (which means they are accessible to creators).





Hit Pause

If you've ever lived under a block, you've probably noticed that something isn't quite right with Minecraft: the Update Aquatic is coming! Like any major update to Minecraft: Java Edition, there will be some changes in the Realms content library. In the beginning, this could be the final set of Realms maps prior to the update, contingent on the date it's released. Creators must take the time to plan for updates and new maps. In the event that an update is made, some of the maps are available to download from Realms might excuse themselves from the library. Typically, around 1/3 of maps are updated immediately, about a third are updated the following month, and for the last third, the creators decide to focus on new projects instead.



What this amounts to is an exciting and totally-not-at-all-stressful-for-our-team shakeup of Realms content as we phase out the old and publish the new. We hope the new maps will have lots of new uses for the aquatic features!
