Technoblade, Popular Minecraft Creator Dies of Cancer at the Age Of 23.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Technoblade is a top YouTube creator who was a specialist in Minecraft let's-play video, has died just one year after he announced an illness that was cancerous in an announcement from his family. He was 23 years old.



In a heartfelt YouTube video shared on Technoblade's channel on Thursday the YouTuber's father revealed that his son had died. His father stated, "He was the most incredible kid anyone could ever dream of." "I miss Technoblade."



Thursday's uploaded video, titled "so long geeks," contained a posthumous note from the creator to his fans. The message was read by his father. "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're watching this, I am dead," Technoblade's message said and revealed that his real name is Alex. "Thank you all for supporting my work over the years. I believe Technoblade would be my first choice in the event that I had another hundred lives. Those were the most joyful years of my life.



On Technoblade's store online, a message says "In honor of his memory, a portion of the proceeds from all online purchases will be donated to a wonderful organization known as curesarcoma.org," linking to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.



Technoblade the online avatar of Technoblade, who was crowned as a King Pig, has 10.8 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. "I play too many video games. His YouTube bio states that he might not be the best , but that he does have hot elbows.



The video was posted on Thursday with the following statement: "We, the Technoblade family, wanted to let you know how much he loved and respected his followers. From the very beginning of Technoblade's online existence, he was constantly figuring out ways to delight and reward his fans. Even after his successes, he managed to maintain his good-natured humility, competing with an endearing balance between his confidence and self-deprecating humor. We ask that you respect his wishes to keep his identity secret and to prevent him from becoming famous.



The statement continued, "This year has been challenging for our son as we have fought stage four cancer." According to his father Technoblade wrote his final message to his fans just eight hours before his death. The father of Technoblade said that while Technoblade didn't get everything he wantedto say, he did receive the most important points.



Technoblade announced the diagnosis of cancer in August 2021. He claimed that he had felt pain in his right arm since the beginning of August. At first, he thought it was caused by repetitive stress injuries caused by gaming. After a few days, he noticed his shoulder swelling and thought that he might have fractured bones. When he visited the hospital to be diagnosed with cancer.
