<br>
<br>White Gables was one of several magnificent homes built by Charlottesville businessman, J.H. Rinehart Sr., in the 1920s.
<br>
<br>Around the same time, Rinehart built other mansions next to White Gables. Kenridge (now known as Colridge), and Boxwood.
<br>
<br>Rinehart also built the Paramount Theater and National Bank Building on Charlottesville’s Historic Downtown Mall and owned the Birdwood Estate across the street, now owned by UVA.
<br>
<br>Albemarle County Public Schools serve White Gables with Murray Elementary, Henley Middle, and Western Albemarle High.
<br>
<br>One of the best private schools in Charlottesville is St. Anne’s Belfield, which is minutes away.
<br>
