It can be used to update your diamond gear, but instead of diamond+ it's something completely new by itself, opening up possibilities for netherite items, gear, tools weapons, and much more.



To obtain the most durable material in Minecraft you'll have to venture to the Nether to find rare ancient debris. How do you find Netherite in Minecraft



In contrast to diamond, you won't find Minecraft netherite in the form of ore in the ground. Instead, you will be looking for ancient debris (or a block in the Nether) - which is extremely rare. To find it, you'll require at most an axe made of diamonds.

Ancient debris spawns in veins, and is always completely covered by blocks (or lava) on each side, so you won't be able spot them from the surface. Instead, you'll need dig - ancient debris is discovered from y=22 up to y=8, but it is most common around the age of 15.



How do I create netherite in Minecraft



After you've discovered some old debris, it's time to make netherite scrap. After smelting the ancient debris block in a blast or furnace furnace, you'll end up with one netherite scrap. You need four netherite scraps as well as four gold ingots, arranged in any way, to make one netherite ingot.

So what can you do with your sparkling new netherite in Minecraft? Netherite is a floatable material and are great for exploring Minecraft's lava-filled underground, and it means your creations will not sink, so you can just observe them floating away.
