PS5 Release Date and Price
The PS5 will be released in November 2020, but the exact dates vary based on the country in which you reside.
The console will be available for purchase in the US, Japan, Canada and South Korea on 12 November. It will also be available in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Canada on November 19th.

A new version of the game was released, and was marketed as a PS4 version. This allowed crossplay and integration into the Bedrock Edition. We'll get the same for PS5

The conflict stems from the fact that Microsoft manages Minecraft. Due to its popularity, Microsoft might delay releasing an PS5 Edition to convince gamers to switch to Xbox Series X later in the year.
Will Minecraft be on the PS5?
This shouldn't concern you too much because Minecraft will most likely be available on the PS5.
Because of backward compatibility, you'll still be able to install the PS4 Edition and enjoy Minecraft on your next-generation console.
