Jim Morrison has more battles with the laws

Jim Morrison was a rockstar who had a turbulent personal life. He suffered from public drunkenness and battled with the authorities. He was detained six times during his short lifetime. Most of the arrests involved public drunkenness.

Morrison was a talented artist, despite a difficult childhood. Two films were made by Morrison while attending UCLA Film School. Peau D'Ane ("Donkey Skin") was his collaboration with Demy.

Morrison and Pamela Courson had an extremely public relationship. They were both involved in an affair and dated. However, their love was complicated.

Morrison's friend called police on June 11, 1963. Morrison was told that he would have to leave the neighborhood by a police officer. Morrison, apparently, had gone to New Mexico. On his return, he was arrested for sexual assault.

1967 was Morrison's most famous battle with the law. In 1967, Morrison was detained in New Haven. However, the arrests didn't come with a riot. Instead, thirteen additional arrests occurred.
