Minecraft foxes can be found in taiga, giant Taiga and snowy biomes and are nocturnal, which makes them more likely to appear at night, especially in forests. They usually spawn in groups of 2-4, with a chance of 5% of them spawning as babies foxes.



Foxes in Minecraft have a 20% chance to create holding items such as an emerald, a rabbit foot, rabbit hide, egg, leather, wheat, or a feather - which is likely to be from their prey.
