These Lenovo Chromebooks are $99 (or Less!) for Prime Day

Three Lenovo Chromebooks are available at less than $100 for Prime Day, a decent price for a decent Chromebook - if you're willing to make one small purchase.



Typically, our list of the best Chromebook deals for Prime Day includes possibly one Chromebook that's less than $100. We've seen a lot deals, including Chromebooks priced as low as $79 from Lenovo which can provide massive savings of as much as 70.

Are they worth the effort? Yes, we think they are, though barely. All three Chromebooks have a Celeron n4020 processor, which is admittedly a dual-core processor that's a few years old. All three have 4GB of memory which is the minimum for a Chromebook and all three include 64GB of storage. We've seen Chromebooks with 32GB storage. However, we've also seen Chromebooks with more. If you are using Chromebooks to work on the web, the extra space is beneficial. Luxuries like a touchscreen, however, aren't included. However the Walmart bundle does include headsets, which are a small but nice feature.

The weakest part of the three Chromebooks is their screen resolution of 768p that should be sufficient on their diminutive panels, but is still far smaller in pixel density than the 1080p screens used by the majority of laptops. This allows you to connect an external display to the Chromebook and increase the screen's resolution and size.
