Gamescom 2022 will unveil new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and will likely reveal more details about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's upcoming space RPG Starfield. You can still watch the live stream of the opening night hosted by Geoff Keighley from your computer even though it's the first Gamescom live stream since the beginning of 2019. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.
Gamescom 2022 starts on August 23rd. If you're located in the UK the show starts at 7PM. Viewers from the US East Coast can tune in at 2PM. PT viewers can start at 11 am.
The most important and most confirmed news is the reveal of more details, and hopefully more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will feature "30+ Games" which means it's possible that 2022's biggest games and 2023's will be teased.

There's also the possibility of God of War: Ragnarok, FIFA 23, and the upcoming survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our personal top-ranked list includes Dead Space as well as the remake of Resident Evil 4, and obviously Starfield However, at the moment, all we can do is speculate and pray.
The official Game Awards YouTube channel and Twitch channel will stream the opening event live. It's possible to tune for a half-hour prior to the event, since previous events have featured announcements and gameplay footage. And of course, if you're planning on going to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you can still buy tickets on the event's official website. Xbox will have its own stream at Gamescom where it is scheduled to stream Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale : Requiem. You can view it via any Xbox social channel, including YouTube.
