AMA Responses 01

I've received several responses to my question to ask me anything. Some questions can be answered in a matter of minutes while others require a full post.



Here's some of the answers that don't require their own blog:



Nicolas asked: What is the story behind the logo of your blog?



There isn't a story that can be told. I wanted a logo that featured a simple monogram of my initials. However, I was unable to find the K & Q to look well together. So I paid someone on Fiverr to create it for me.



Thelma asked: I'm wondering what can you do to make you hopeful for the future?



Honestly, not a lot. The world is going to hell, mortgages are on the rise, the world is becoming hotter. The population overpopulation is increasing and we're running out of resources.



These are the reasons why my wife and me decided to adopt instead of having biological children. I worry about how the children of the future are going to cope.



Joel asked"I don't notice any videogame-related discussion at all in your posts. Are you not interested? What about your children?



I'm not keen on gaming as I don't have the time. I play Sudoku and some Among Us on my phone occasionally however that's all. I do own an Xbox however I'm unable remember when I last turned it on.



I sometimes play Minecraft with my oldest son, but it's rare as I don't get enough time to play these days.



Joel also asked: Also if you had to wear a head-covering for the rest your life, which would you wear?



I'm not a fan of the hats I wear; they're not for me (I have a massive head). It would be my helmet for motorbikes, so I could be riding my bike all day.



Are you an act of cheating?



Dusan asked: I was wondering how do you balance your time between work, family and hobbies like running Fosstodon. Are you organized or do you tend to be chaotic and have to figure things out on the on the spot?



In the meantime, what type of music do your listen to?



I'm extremely organized. I'm also one of those who don't like to let things hang around. I like to get sh*t done. Info I get myself started. If I make mistakes I can always return and rectify them.



However, I am extremely limited in my free time. What free time I do have, I try to make sure that it's not spent on computers entirely - usually something outside, such as walking the dogs or riding my motorbikes. It is important to have a moment to relax.



Music is my favourite genre. Classic rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Toto, Rolling Stones and AC/DC. Some pop, some indie, and everything else between. I don't have a preference for any single genre; that would be doing music a disservice, I believe. If I like a song I like it. Whatever the genre.
