"We've handed Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition over to Sony for final test!" The message was shared along with the image. As we reported in the last month, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition brings with it several distinct features like support for the DualShock 4 touchpad, save game transfers from both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and "a number of DLC that is exclusive to Sony to be released shortly after the release."
When Minecraft is released on PlayStation 4, those who already own the game on the PS3 will be able to upgrade to the game's new generation version for $5. 4J Studios, the developer of Minecraft, has not yet revealed a release date or a timeframe for its launch.
