Are you curious about the Minecraft Ender Dragon? If there's a purpose to the popular open-world crafting video game it is to make it to The End, defeat the Ender Dragon (also known as Jean). Minecraft's only true boss is no joke and can be difficult to defeat so be sure to keep a supply of Minecraft potions, put on that diamond armour, and remain at peace.
The Ender Dragon spawns immediately after the player enters The End - that nightmarish realm accessible only through the portals found in strongholds. The Ender Dragon will appear regardless of the difficulty level you're at. She shoots dragon's breath and charges at players by flying down from the sky. She is able to retreat in case she is hit, but she can also instantly demolish any blocks she comes in contact with.
Players are not able to escape The End until they slay the Ender Dragon So you'll require everything from good armour, potent potions, and even food to keep your health replenished. We also recommend taking some beds because you can use them as TNT charges.
Minecraft Ender Dragon
There are a variety of strategies you can employ to defeat an Ender Dragon. However, there are some key points you should keep in mind. First of all, you need to destroy as many Ender Crystals as you can because they could end up healing the dragon as you're trying to eliminate it. Although they're relatively simple to eliminate, they explode upon impact which is why we suggest bows or arrows. The explosion can cause damage to the dragon if you time it correctly.
Anyone who's been trained with bows could be able to deal some damage to the Ender Dragon with some well aimed shots, but sometimes as part of her attack pattern the dragon flies over the exit port. You must be near her sword to prevent her from using bows as she does this. If you want to stay clear of being hit by dragon's breath, we recommend standing beneath her head.
We also suggest that you keep moving and, if it's possible, bring some friends. You'll be amazed at how much easier the fight is if you have an entire group. The final general tip is that the Ender Dragon is not the only threat in The End - Endermen are also present, so make sure you're paying attention to them as well.
Ender Dragon Egg
There are a few things that happen after you defeat the Ender Dragon. For starters the exit portal opens which allows you to go back to the Overworld. Secondly, the dragon itself explodes into a massive shower of approximately 12,000 points of experience. The Dragon Egg is the third and most important.
The Ender Dragon egg doesn't do much - it's nothing more than an ornament at this point. It's not easy to collect because it teleports away from you the moment that you click on it. There are a few ways you can break it, including pistons, beds, even a torch, but once you have it in your inventory, that's it. You can't hatch an Ender Dragon egg.
According to currently accepted Minecraft facts, there was, at one point, a plan to add additional dragons to Minecraft and the developers have mentioned before that the eggs might be used for that, but in 2021, no such feature is available in the game.

Ender Dragon Spawning
If you feel like fighting the Ender Dragon was too much it is possible to summon her once more and go through the entire process a second and third time. All you have to do is create End Crystals, and then place one on either side of the border between the exit portal. The obsidian pillars will be reset with the End Crystals on top, and Jean will fly once more.
This is all you need to know about Minecraft's Ender Dragon. If you're looking for something more to do now that you've finished Minecraft, why not take a look at some Minecraft mods? These cool Minecraft servers might be a great alternative.
