Minecraft will not complete the bridge to PS4, Vita and Xbox One until August, however the PlayStation Blog update lends a some more information about what to expect from the port to Sony's newest home console.

We were told previously that the world's sizes would be "a significantly larger" on consoles with more modern features. However, this update provides more information The PS4 will offer 36 times more space for flagship construction sites than the PS3. The DualShock 4's touchpad may be considered a new tool in your arsenal, since 4J Studios has added optional support for crafting and menu navigation.
The PS4 version will offer eight-player online game play, with a single PS4 being able to host up to four players on a split-screen. Minecraft's PS4 launch will also be followed by "a assortment of Sony-specific DLC to be released shortly after launch."
For your reference, saves will be transferable from the PS3 and Xbox 360, so you can keep flexing your creative design muscles without worrying about starting over. When the PS4 and Xbox One builds arrive in August, you'll be able to upgrade from digital versions for $4.99. In addition, PlayStation users can stick with the PS3 and get access to the Vita version for free.
Mojang would like to provide discounts to spin disc-based versions of Minecraft also, but since the post mentions that it's "proving somewhat more difficult to setup," we'll have to wait for more info to see if it's feasible.
