We've seen some Minecraft designs inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Reddit, though the latest might be our most favorite. Both games can be combined like diamonds and sticks. It seems to be the case if you check out what the Minecraft building community is up to on the subreddit every so often.
Reddit user, lg_cuber began by sharing an Temple of Time build on the subreddit. Poesia-infantil.com It turns out, though, that this doesn't even give a hint of what they're planning to do. While the temple is certainly impressive, it turns out they're actually replicating the entirety of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in Minecraft.
The creator explained that Steve would feel too small if the game were recreated in 1:1 scale. It will be close to the scale, but it'll feel more natural in Minecraft. They're using a mod named WorldEdit to copy and paste specific areas, and also to instantly fill parts with blocks. WorldEdit can be used to rotate entire builds which is extremely handy. They also use WorldPainter. (Don't worry too much about how long this would take if you were to try it brick by brick.)
Another participant chose not to release the map after they were concerned about being considered copyright violation. LG_cuber seems not to be bothered by this and plans to release it for download when it's complete.
In other news, Minecraft's first 1.19 snapshot is now available, and we've received some beautiful mangrove builds as result. Although we don't yet know a release date for Minecraft 1.19 but there's an official link that you can click to find out more.
