Types of Plants you can Farm In Minecraft



Wheat, carrots, and potatoes

1. Collect seeds and vegetables.



Breaking tall grass blocks, or tilling grass blocks occasionally can yield wheat seeds. You will find carrots and potatoes in villages, or by killing zombies.

The tiny Green stems appear on the block.

3. rn Wait until the plants are fully mature.



The color of wheat is usually brown and yellow when it's fully grown and the potatoes and carrots are ready to harvest when the heads of the vegetables begin to emerge. You can work on other projects while you wait. You can also make use of bone meal (crafted from skeleton bones) to increase the yield of your crops quickly.

4. Break the crop blocks to earn your money.

Replant seeds, carrots, and potatoes until your farmland is filled, and then keep the remainder as profit. Here's how a flourishing farm will look like:

Melons and pumpkins

Collect seeds.

You can find both melon and pumpkin seeds in treasure chests hidden in abandoned mineshafts. You can make seeds from naturally-found pumpkins. Melon seeds can also be made from melon slices. This can be done by trading with villagers.

This farmland must be located near grass or dirt, not wheat. When the seeds develop into stalks, they tip over and grow melons or pumpkins right next to them. To produce a lot of melons and pumpkins, you'll need to plant a row on the farmland and then a row of dirt with water pools scattered throughout.

Wait.



Using bone meal on seeds can speed up the process of turning them into mature stalks, even though they aren't yet bearing fruit. It takes time to grow melons and pumpkins. You should ensure that your crops have enough space to develop. In the meantime, you could perform other tasks.

4. Harvest the crops.



Don't break the stalk blocks. Instead break the pumpkin or the melon blocks. If you've grown pumpkins you can make them into seeds for pumpkins to increase the size of your farm. Breaking the blocks can yield melons that can be eaten, or transformed into seeds if you own melons.





Sugar cane

Find (or make) a place that holds water.



They are found only close to lakes or pools. They can grow only on dirt, grass, or sand.

If a patch of reeds is placed in a place where they can grow, it expands vertically, reaching three blocks high.

After the sugar cane is fully mature, harvest all but the bottom block.



The top section of the stalks can be broken into pieces by removing the blocks in the middle. The reeds at the bottom will grow again.

Require no water and must be placed on sand.

A massive tree can be made by planting four jungle saplings in a square and feeding bone meal to one.
