Since fifth grade, I have been writing software since fifth grade. I began my journey with Python and JavaScript. A few years later, I am now creating software professionally as well as for fun in more languages than I can remember. I am probably born of two computer scientists who were my parents.
My work is almost entirely open-source software development. You can find everything on GitHub. Personal projects are my favorites because I enjoy the opportunity to try new things, test and create as fast as possible. This is why I usually produce projects every three days. Many of these projects were created as a result of necessity and can be utilized in a different project or as learning exercises. Feel free to use, fork and contribute to any of my projects. I appreciate any feedback given in return.
Notable past projects
In the past, I've worked on a variety of interesting projects of different sizes. I was a popular user on devRant. I've worked on many bots and statistical tools for the community and my first group project devCredits and a command-line client for the application called Dr. Although neither of these projects was particularly well-designed or written, I learned many things and that's what I value most.
Recently, I've been involved with Raider Robotics, a FIRST Robotics Competition team based in my high school. On Raider Robotics, I was the leading force developing the software that powered our award-winning robots, including Q*bert, MiniBot, HATCHField, and Darth Raider. I also created some event management software as well as a tool for managing parts for the team shop, hardware debugging tools, and the team's main robotics library (including its documentation).
I keep my repository list of pins current with the latest projects.
Repo navigation
If you haven't yet noticed I have a large number of active repositories on this account.
To make it easier for people to look around and discover what I'm working on, the following are some links to the GitHub search tool.
Rust – At the moment, Rust my primary programming language. My goal is to become an expert in Rust. Mundo's images I've been at work on creating a variety of useful crates to help to fill out the available libraries for other developers.
- Java has been my main language for the past few years. I picked it up in 10th grade, while working with Raider Robotics (@frc5024). My Java projects are split up between robotics, Minecraft mods, and homework from my high school Compsci classes.
- Python was the first programming language I learned (way way back in 5th grade). It was also my primary language until high school. I have a myriad of Python projects. As is typical with new programmers, a lot of my older Python projects are not high-quality, but my Python abilities have since increased to the point that I can comfortably say I am an expert in the language. While my work is not open-source I still use Python professionally.
- C and C++ are both languages I picked up while working with Raider Robotics. While I have most of my experience with these languages in the Robotics area however, I also have a few other projects using these languages. I also utilize C++ professionally.
Although I am fluent in a variety of languages, there aren't enough projects that warrant a separate section. Feel free to dig around my repository pages to locate them.
