Harry Potter;two words which conclude a global phenomenon,the phenomenon that estimated 200 countries,captivated the planet in 73 languages,sold at least 450 million copies and still counts.Best and fastest selling books of all times ,the most successful film franchise and the most visited theme park,located in Orlando,Florida.Those are just facts that don't and cannot describe what HARRY POTTER means to me ,its importance in my life and the way the story and the characters inspire me.
J K ROWLING,the creator of these book series,the novelist that shaped the world,the improver of our lives and the mother of miracle named HARRY POTTER.
Everything starts back in 1997,when a single mother,very poor and depressed decided to publish the book she had written 7 years ago.12 publishers rejected her and 13 came out to be a lucky number for Jo,even the UK publisher said to her''You will never make money writing children' books'' but hopefully he was so wrong because she would become billionare inside the night.So many people has analyzed HARRY POTTER and its fame and success;why Harry Potter has become so popular that everybody knows his name,his face and round glasses.I will give you an explanation based on my thoughts and of course the way it influenced me ,so I hope I will do my best.
I know that I can't talk for everyone but reading these books and watching these films will make you understand the meaning of love,friendship and loyalty.You will learn to face a boggart;your biggest fear,to get to know people better and realize that the richest and the most powerful ones aren't always the bests.It doesn't matter if you are pure blood,half blood or a muggle to be the best student or the most generous one;not always your appearance defines you as a human being;sometimes heroes hide in the most hidden places,war brings nothing good and remember that no one can be immortal even in the magical world.Together we will start a long journey which starts from platform 9 3/4,Hogwarts Express and will finish in Hogwarts;school of witchcraft and wizardry;our home.We were so young when we touched its walls,when we got the letter from a beautiful white owl,when we learned for werewolves,for Felicis Felixis,Amortentia and how to transfigure a cup into a mouse or a cat and now we are fighting to keep it safe.
We cried when Fred passed away,when the most horrible teacher came out to be the bravest man we will ever know;we laughed with Gred and Forge jokes even in the darkest times;we teared when we remembered Dobby,our little saver,the free house elf.
Something is sure,when we got the first book in our hands we didn't know that this messy haired guy with a lighting shaped scar on his forehead,the girl who is the eager beaver and the top of the class,the ginger hair guy that made us laugh would change our lives,ALWAYS!
So, Jo thank you for my magical childhood,thank you for everything you created and let us be part of it and thank you to Dan,Rupert and Emma for being my role models and the perfect Harry,Ron and Hermione we wished you to be.Thank you to the whole cast and crew for bringing magic real on screen and for making those films in the way they should have been made.
Even we reached the end is not over yet because we still have each other and all those beautiful memories.We had had the time of our lives and you will always be remembered;I am so grateful to you and you will always be a part of me because best stories live in us forever even we wish they never ended!
