Family game night is a great way to spend time with your kids It doesn't need to mean stockpiling pricey board games packed with pieces that can be lost and complex rules. Instead, you can DIY these classic games using only a few items including a dictionary, pencil and paper, or, in certain instances just your imagination (and maybe an electronic timer for your kitchen). These games can be used to make memorable moments at your next gathering with your family. One participant chooses one word from a book and the rest of players come up with a fictional definition. https://wowwiki.org/ The player who chose the word then shuffles the suggested definitions and adds a card with the correct answer. Then, he reads all the definitions out loud; players vote for the definition they believe is the real one and earn points for getting it right or for finding the most popular fake definition. All words that are added to the list of to-be-guessed words should be names of individuals. In this case, "celebrity” means any person that the majority of people would recognize, such as George Washington, Luke Skywalker or Aunt Gladys, or George Washington. To get their team to guess the correct answer, players can use whatever they like, with the exception of the name of the person. After all names have been guessed proceed to the second round where the players can only say one word. Next, you must keep your mouth shut. In the third round, you are allowed to only act, just like in classic Charades. Start by choosing a category - this could be anything from states cities, animals or even movie titles or famous people. then, as a group, go around with each participant naming something in the category that begins with the next letter of the alphabet. It may sound simple (alligator, bumblebee, cat, etc.) It requires quick thinking and a large knowledge base to win. One player is able to think of a person, place or thing - that they can see in the room or not - and the other players take turns asking one question each until they can guess it. You can also start with the classic question "Is it bigger than the breadbox?" Here's how it works: Make a chart with five categories that run down the page, and one word that runs across the top. Give an exemplified copy to each participant. You must find a word from each category that begins with the letter of the word you select. For instance, if playing around the holidays and you choose the word "Santa," and your first category is U.S. states, you could choose to include South Dakota, Alabama, New Mexico, Texas, and Arkansas. But there's one problem: if a player picks the same word as you do either of you will not receive any points (or in a different way the game, you'll earn one point for each correct answer and two points if someone else chooses the same word). This is a game that's easy to customize for your family since the categories and the word can be literally anything: category ideas could include animals, names of family members, movie titles, song lyrics, television show characters, superheroes, or vacation spots, and the top word could be holiday-related, the birthday boy's name, the name of the current month, or whatever else comes to mind (try supercalifragilisticexpialidocious for an extra challenge!
