MultiMCManage Minecraft Instances with Ease



Overview

MultiMC is an alternative launcher for Minecraft. It allows you to have multiple, cleanly separated instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods, resource packs, saves and so on) and helps you manage them and their options using a simple but powerful interface.

Manage multiple isolated instances of Minecraft, keeping them free of clutter. - Drill into the details - view the logs, mods, and other information easily. - No surprises - MultiMC is designed to be constant and follow the instructions you tell it to do. - Fine control over Java settings and runtimes. Each instance has settings that you can set on top of the global settings. - MultiMC game logs contain extra information that helps to identify issues, and they are color coded. Support for older versions of Minecraft being run in the original way they were released. - Quickly stop Minecraft in the event that it crashes or freezes. - MultiMC is extremely lightweight that allows it to be run in the background while keeping an eye on the game even on older machines where every byte of memory matters. - Easy installation of common mod loaders - Forge, Fabric and LiteLoader (and likely more coming soon). Minecraft world management as well as the management of texture packs and resource packs. - Import and export of Minecraft instances to share them with anyone. - Import modpacks from various platforms: Modrinth, CurseForge and FTB (via import from FTB App), Technic, ATLauncher and FTB legacy. The more you have, the better.

Download & install

Choose the appropriate download for your operating system from the list below. Extract the archive into an appropriate folder, and then run it. yurock Make sure that you install it to be executable for you if you're using Linux.

MultiMC requires Qt5 installed on Linux. Depending on your distribution it is possible that you require installing the following packages if you don't already have it:



- Arch: qt5-base - OpenSuse: libqt5-qtbase - CentOS/Fedora/RHEL: qt5-qtbase - Ubuntu/Debian: libqt5core5a libqt5network5 libqt5gui5

Source Code

MultiMC is based on the code that is available on GitHub. The source code is not made available to facilitate collaboration. The only difference between the binary distribution and the code is the branding and API keys required for the launcher's functionality and packaging-related changes.
