Minecraft Fan Recreates Ghostbusters Theme, makes us Feel Good

Minecraft players can accomplish quite a lot using tools such as Redstone and even recreate classic songs. We aren't afraid to use the Minecraft Ghostbusters theme song

Minecraft players are awestruck by an enjoyable recreation. Sometimes it's a location, like a recreation of the Stranger Things house and other times it's more intricate, such as the people who recreated Elden Ring in the Sandbox game. This time it's a Minecraft Ghostbusters recreation, except it's more of a musical version.

Raevix on Reddit posted a video that asks an easy question "Who You gonna call?" We all know the answer nobody can be bothered to text. This is clearly a reference to Ghostbusters, and Raevix shows an extremely complex and impressive music machine made out of Redstone that plays the movie's classic theme tune.

3k Notes, 2 mins of music, One heaping heap of redstone spaghetti Who Are You Going to Call? from Minecraft

The entire thing is a testament to not just the incredible brilliance of the song and Redstone, but also the incredible level of patience Raevix must have. It is enough to make most people cry in the corner. But to persevere and test it a plethora of times to find the right answer must have been agonising.

As Raevix explains in a blog post in her blog, the 3,000 notes required to complete this would be way too much for a linear circuit, so they had to think of something new. "I realized that there was enough repetition in the song that it might be possible to cut down on space by breaking it into loops, and creating an electronic circuit that gradually activates and deactivates the loops to create the whole song."

Although this version was created in a creative way the past, they are now looking to go into survival mode and create it again. You can even download the world file to see it in action. It's not necessary in the end, but you've got it in your head now, right?
