After selling a staggering 100 million copies (and counting), the world of Minecraft continues to grow today with new features and functions. The new "Friendly Update" allows Minecraft players playing on Windows 10, iOS, and Android (including the Gear VR Edition) to play online in the same persistent Realms.
This update follows on from the launch last year of cross-platform multiplayer via local networks. The latest update is available today, but the Minecraft developers also announced two significant enhancements specific to the mobile-friendly "Pocket Edition." SOULDEVTEAM The texture packs are available today and allow you to change the look of the game. Add-ons also let you alter the game's world further (e.g. create zombies that shoot fireballs). In addition these updates will be coming to the console versions of Minecraft next year. Be sure to complete your homework, kids.
