How difficult would it be to create a small campain of a role-playing type?
Ok so, some context. Me and a friend have a yearly thing every summer where we prepare a server and host an event for our friends on it. Every year it gets more complex and advanced, and we have tons of fun making it, and seeing people's reaction to it. The last two years have been focused on PVP but we want to change the formula. This year we want to go all out, we were thinking about a more streamlined approach, instead of having a PVP event, we would love to host the server has some kind of roleplaying event, with areas, trials, all the good stuff. We really don't want any mods, just plugins, my main concerns were things like : Syncing music to a discord bot, having plugins to setup trials and success conditions, having potential bosses or custom enemies. How doable is all of this in 8-10 months? Are there any plugins that could help setting up stuff like this? Thanks! (btw if you have suggestions or fun ideas, feel free to share them)

I'm looking to improve my coding skills and also the server's owner. what are your tips for creating a fantastic server and running it efficiently? (and programming too, in the event that you do Why not?)
Ive been running a server now for about a month, and while i've had some run ins with stuff like this never have i gotten into it and desired it as much as i do now. i want to run this stuff well but i often run into so many blocks which i know i could fix easily if i knew the tool. (same goes for coding, sentence could be changed to coding , add a month, and call it a day)
So what are your most effective tips, tricks, or things that are often overlooked that have significantly improved your quality of life or saved you time or created a wonderful environment? These are only general suggestions. If you find something that isn't quite right, but it is still valuable then please share it!

(i run a modified server using my own mod pack, for context)
I'm still learning new methods, like mods to reduce the amount of lag and how to deal with the high stress environment caused by massive mods. Looking through logs to find mistakes and fix them quickly (again this isn't the right place, but it's a good idea to ask). How do I know which mods conflict or interact in bizarre ways?
It's a mix of random bs questions. I don't care what you decide to answer, I just would like to take my time and learn as much as i can. Thanks for the help!
Plugin to help with the issue of chainkills
Hi all admins of all other servers, im launching another edition of my small server for friends (or rather friends + who my friends invite +who the friends of my friends invite+⅓will be random people that noone knows who found our discord on disboard ) and so as of this time i plan or expanding the server by promoting it so that more strangers join
There are problems that arise. I'm still keen to keep the smp style of the server, but I imagine it getting increasingly difficult and difficult as more people join, in order to discourage players from acting as if it was a lifesteal and fighting on sight , I want to ensure that every kill you take gets debuffed you for a few minutes or so that if a player has too many kills within a timeframe they get like an hour of tempban/freeze. is there a plugin or a way i can include one of these features to the game? Is there a way to make a commandblock that can do this? (Will this work? Scoreboard that counts kills. It resets every seven minutes. A command block that blocks players when they score more than 3 kills. From 3 to 5 kills you are weak or slowness, from 6 and 7 you get weakness and slowness 2, and 8 kills give you the ability to teleport to the cage. (The last part of this is achieved using command blocks.

My friends are experiencing performance problems on my home server. Their clients are way behind my server , and their interactions with the rest of the world take longer (tens to seconds), as if they were slow. They see myself move smoothly however, they only see me move for a long time after I've moved.

The server's TPS is high and I'm not having any issues with playing my LAN IP. Their ping to my network IP is good. Their low connection bar in game is the only sign that something isn't right. And sometimes there's no problem.
If it's relevant the issue was not present. issue on a lightly modified Fabric server. It was occurring, so it appears that this isn't the case.
I would be grateful for any assistance in solving this problem and can provide more information if needed.
