Minecraft maker Mojang plans a spin-off game

Mojang, the Minecraft maker is developing an spin-off game based on its block-building game.
Called Minecraft: Story Mode, it's an episodic game that takes place in the well-known Minecraft world but will introduce new characters to the world.
Telltale Games, which has produced a number of episodic titles, is making the game.
The first episode is due to be released in 2015 on consoles PCs, consoles, Macs and Android devices.
So far, no details about what it could look similar to has been released. Mojang has released a short browser-based game called Info Quest II, which explains what it might be like.
Mojang announced in a blog post that the game would be developed with the assistance of the Minecraft community.
It was designed to assure players that Story Mode is not violent and bloody as previous Telltale games. Telltale's most recent games include Tales from the Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us and games based on Game of Thrones and the zombie thriller The Walking Dead.

"Telltale's Minecraft-like game will feel like Minecraft," stated Mojang, "but it's an entirely original design that is that is influenced by our game."
Mojang has released the final version of its Scrolls card-based magic fighting game. Soon after the announcement of Story Mode is out.
