Bratz Merchandise
Bratz is the fashion doll franchise. It was introduced in 2001. The dolls have matching sets and are made in asymmetrical silhouettes. The dolls were initially intended for younger kids but became more popular as time went on. They are now a fashionable choice among fashion enthusiasts.

Carter Bryant conceived the Bratz line's original concept. Bryant claimed he was an employee at Mattel when he conceived the idea. MGA Entertainment sued Mattel following the launch of this line. A federal jury concluded that Bratz, the new line of Bratz, was infringing copies of Mattel's property. Mattel was awarded damages of $100 million.

The toy franchise and its line of toys were a success for several years. At the end the first half-decade, global sales exceeded $2 billion. This was possible thanks to the clever slogan the toy brand used to distinguish itself from the competition.

Although Bratz's doll line was successful, the company did face some difficulties in its beginning days. The line was estimated to have captured 40% of fashion doll market according to a 2006 industry analyst. Poor marketing and a poorly executed branding strategy were just two of the reasons for the failure.

A number of steps were taken by the company to relaunch its product in 2010. bratz hoodies included a new slogan, redesign of the logo and a new website. The dolls didn’t sell as well, as the company had hoped. However, the dolls lived a second existence in 2013.

Despite failing to meet consumer expectations the toy brand sold more than 125,000,000 pieces of merchandise globally in the first half of the 2000s. The majority of these products were licensed.

Bratz is no further in production. However the company launched a variety of new items including a new reality television show and web series. The fourth is based upon four fictional teenagers running a teen magazine.

Bratz Makin’The Band is an online talent show that recently emerged from the Bratz line. Each week five bands compete against the other with the winner being flown into Hollywood to perform. You can follow along the band's adventures on the YouTube channel. The creators decided to change the traditional method of airing episodes. Instead, the creators uploaded the episodes on to a Bratz YouTube Channel.

The Bratz dolls have also been updated. New bodies were added to this line with longer legs and heads. The original dolls were slightly smaller than 10 inches in height, but the company has expanded its focus to include larger models.

The brand added a new motto and a re-brand to round out the decade. These two changes helped Bratz to rebound in popularity. Bratz products include new doll lines, fashion game, and even social media followings.
