The first version, which was released on December 2, 2009, was more limited than any other edition of Minecraft ever released to the general public, including the pre-classic version available through the Minecraft Launcher. On December 4, 2009, an update was released that altered the controls and added more blocks to the screen, a widescreen, and the ability for players to put their blocks in order and then destroy their blocks. [2]
In November 2014, the primary page hosting the game was taken down. You can still access its archive using the Wayback Machine. The executable is also accessible on the Internet Archive.
On December 2, 2012 Notch released the JavaScript version of Minecraft 4k. This version is not capable of moving or looking around, but the camera or the entire world can move on its own. There is also a blue water-like block that can be added to the other blocks. [3]

Gameplay[]
General[]
The player is able to place or destroy blocks. The only block that a player can put in is grass. This is an homage to the very first builds.
Minecraft
RubyDung internally is available from the
Minecraft Launcher Launcher
. Leaves do not decay.
World[]
The same 64x64x63 block universe is created every time the game is loaded. The only blocks that are in the game - air, grass block, dirt bricks, stone wood, leaves, and even leaves are scattered throughout the globe. No mobs exist.
The game's first build uses one type of block. It is based on an XOR Fractal texture.
A wall of invisible walls surrounds the world, preventing the player from escaping, similar to the invisible bedrock or an old world.
Controls[]
The player can move around with standard WASD controls and jump using Space.
The traditional Minecraft controls that allow left- and right-clicking are reversed. Left-click places blocks, and right-click takes them away. Middle-click also places blocks in a weird way. The camera is "smoothly" turned on by moving the mouse, much like pressing F8 in Java Edition. This version is not able to be altered.
The camera behaves differently to Minecrafts. The camera only moves when the cursor is far enough away from the center of the game's screen. The cursor is able to select blocks from the world, and is not the center of the viewport.
The game is devoid of options menu or HUD.
Graphics[]
The graphics appear pixelated as a result of the game rendering at a low resolution. Even when running at a higher resolution the game does not scale the resolution properly and the noisy appearance remains. Classic 0.30 (Creative), which was the most recent version, has block textures that are comparable to Classic.
Minecraft
At the time. Blocks appear noisier than they actually are.
MINECRAFTSERVERS
Minecraft
While some blocks, especially stone, have a similar appearance however, they're quite different from the other blocks. The sky is black due to the fact that there is no skybox.
Hovering the cursor on an object will reveal its outline. This contrasts with Minecraft's narrow gray outline of the block selection.

Another image that illustrates the same.
The first and second versions of Minecraft 4k.
The JavaScript version of Minecraft 4K..
Blocks[]
The original game had only one non-air block.
In the second version the block IDs are stored using four bits, which results in 16 possible IDs. They are usually filled in with slightly different textures of dirt.
