These steps will show you how to ride and control a horse in Minecraft.

You can find a saddle or horse armor. These items can be found in chests found in dungeons or Nether Fortresses. You may also catch them when fishing.

Find the horse. Horses are usually found grazing in plains or savannas.

To control the horse feed it with food. Continue feeding it until its hearts rise above its head.

You can attempt to mount an untrained horse, however, it's likely to throw you off. It is possible that you will eventually be able mount it if you do enough practice.

Choose the horse with an empty hand. You will ride the horse, but you won't be able to control the horse's movements.

Place a Saddle or Horse Armor on your horse. Open your inventory and drag the Saddle into the appropriate box next to your horse.

Ride your horse. To dismount, press the Sneakbutton. This button will differ depending on the platform.

Horse breeding in Minecraft

After you've conquered two horses, create a fence around them . Then feed them each with a Golden Apple or Golden Carrot. If you're lucky, hearts will appear above their heads, and you'll soon have a tiny colt. Feed the baby horse to help it grow into an adult. Give it at minimum five seconds before attempting to breed again.
