Minecraft now has a new launcher for PCthat is available for everyone without an Omni setup - and those who do have one. The launcher's new version is required to play the game's most recent version, Minecraft 1.6, and any future updates. The new interface can accommodate multiple usernames within a single Mojang account, but this feature isn't yet available through Mojang itself.
The new system will automatically update without the need to manually update. Single-player content will also be accessible offline. Players must be offline for that to be the case or the launcher will attempt to reach the Minecraft servers.
