McDonald's Announces New Partnerships With Rappers
McDonald's plans to launch a virtual Summer Camp in the summer of 2022. This camp will feature music performances, menu hacks, and limited edition merch drops. The program will also include virtual talent shows. In collaboration with Kid Cudi, the brand announced another partnership.

The rapper will perform at Camp McDonald's' last week. A pink T-shirt will be available with a Kid Cudi graphic. It will go on sale in October and be available for preorder. It will also come with a collectable figurine that is made in the brand’s signature style. Weverse Shop USA as well McDonald's' online store will carry merchandise. The merch may sell out sooner than expected.

McDonald's created "Camp McDonald's" to offer new ways of eating traditional menu items. The program featured celebrity crossovers as well menu hacks and musical performances. There was merchandise in the form of hoodies and tees. Some items featured new sleeves printing, and some had retro McDonald's designs.

McDonald's has also worked with Travis Scott, a rapper. The rapper is set for a merch collection and will perform on the brand's mobile app. The collection will include a variety o merchandise, including crewnecks. Hoodies, socks. and baseball caps. The designs include old McDonald's store graphics with a cut/paste typeface. It might include a quarter-pound meal with cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce. The restaurant was extremely popular in certain areas, and McDonald's stores in the U.S. were unable to stock it. Many stores suffered supply chain disruptions due to the collaboration.

Mariah Carey has also been announced as a McDonald's merch collector, and she will be launching a virtual summer camp for the brand in 2020. This campaign will include a television advertisement, a 12-day McDonald's merch drop, as well as exclusive Mariah Carey x McDonald's clothing. The brand will also offer festive merch with co-branding to the first 10,000 people to redeem their Mariah Meal.

McDonald's has teamed up with young talent to create merch this year. Fast food chains, whether they are working with Travis Scott or Kid Cudi, have been looking to reach younger customers. This has helped the company expand beyond its menu. This has helped the brand connect to Gen Z consumers.

MA(r?)KET also partners with McDonald's. The brand's website features a range of rotating seasonal items along with Happy Meal-themed and sesame seed-themed popping sockets. mcdonald merch will be available in the store including a jacket made of wool and leather that's part of the "That's the Mix." campaign.

McDonald's is launching a special clothing line in celebration of MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry's launch. The collection includes tees as well as hoodies and crewnecks. Retro designs and Hamburglar mascots are part of the clothing line.
