Mojang reassures Minecraft fans about Microsoft deal
The boss of Minecraft-maker Mojang has reassured those who are worried about what will take place when Microsoft assumes control.
In the middle of September, Microsoft announced a $2.5bn (PS1.5bn) deal to acquire Mojang.
Vu Bui, chief operating office of Mojang Vu Bui, Mojang's chief operating office, said there is no plan to alter the game or alter what players can play with it.
He also said that feedback from players is vital to develop the game.
"Nothing's really changing," said Mr Bui. " "We don't have any plans to change anything and obviously, I'm not able to talk much about the deal and I don't know everything, but we're here, and the game's still going on and everything is the same as it was before."

Mojang said that he had always been trying to preserve the original enthusiasm that made the game popular.
He added, "Maintaining the original culture is really hard." It's a society that is respectful of the community and lets them do what they like in the game.
"It is absolutely the intention, as it has always been, to keep doing this," he said to the BBC during an BBC interview at London's Olympia exhibition center, where he was giving a keynote address at the Brand Licensing Europe trade fair.
Mr. Bui acknowledged that the deal was "still in the making" however, he said that Mojang's goal was to continue to work closely with its huge community of players.
Many block-building enthusiasts have expressed their concern about what could occur in the event that Microsoft assumes complete control.
Minecraft inventor Markus Persson, aka Notch has written about the reasons he was approaching Microsoft and stated that he was handing it over as it had become a burden for him to manage.

He wrote, "I can't take responsibility for something like this," shortly after details of the deal were disclosed.
"It's not about money," he added. "It's all about my sanity."
Mr. Bui said there would undoubtedly be some changes in the coming years but they would be made with the feedback, input and comments of fans.
The current system where Minecraft developers share their work long before they add it to the site is expected to be maintained.
"We don't hide our features," he said.
This openness would also operate during the time Mojang started to show off the new titles that developers were working on, even though the studio was not yet ready to talk specifics the details, he said.
When they were ready, said Mr Bui, Mojang would let players try early versions of a game and help the title's creators improve it and help it become an official commercial property.
Similar strategies were utilized in Minecraft. Mojang wanted the same method to be used again because it was proven to benefit developers as they worked on a project.
It wasn't about trying to duplicate the success of Minecraft to create a game that was as well-liked. It was more about faith in the overall concept that was emphasized by Mr. Bui.
"We believe in that model," he said. "Regardless of their art form, people should be able to put their energies into whatever they believe in, no matter how it turns out.
He said, "That's a noble endeavor."
Similar to that, he added, Mojang believed that it was a mistake for anyone trying to manage or influence the Minecraft community and decide what can and can't be done with the game.
He also said it was better to get out of the way.
"People are at their most creative sometimes when you let them do whatever they want," said Mr Bui. "You have to give them guidelines but for the most part when you let people be creative they will come up with more interesting stuff than we ever could ourselves."
