Minecraft builds have hit an all-time high as Redstone - which has previously been used to create the Ghostbusters theme, a playable version of Dance Dance Revolution, and even real-world Redstone devices - has been used by YouTubers to make an entirely functional version of MS Paint, inside the multiplayer building game.
Microsoft Paint is sometimes referred to as "that program that we used to learn IT lessons but was unable to access the internet", has seen numerous improvements in the last few years. Re-creating the current version would be a huge undertaking even for the skilled Redstoners of YouTube and, instead MattBatWings, MattBatWings and Sloimay have focused on the old version, and used it as the basis for a cool and highly detailed project that should be on our list of the best Minecraft builds.
MattBatWings showcases the entire creative process. The building of MS Paint isn't something that they or Sloimay actually plan, but raher decide to cobble(stone) together when they're asked to take part in the video of Sipover, the YouTuber who pits the two Minecraft Redstone pros against a group of ordinary people.
Sloimay and MattBatWings decide to implement the brush tool and line tool, along with the square and circle tools and a sprite tool. It all sounds simple but it is important to be aware that all of it is not native to Minecraft and they need to build not only each of these features by using Redstone programming but also the screen itself. This is another amazing example of the imagination and creativity of Minecraft builds and includes MattBatWings explaining the features as they go.
