Drake was one of the first to break the record for non-tournament Twitch viewers breaking the record with Ninja. Ninja had 635,000 concurrent viewers at peak time on their live streaming stream. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, Los Angeles Lakers basketball superstar Josh Hart and many pro baseball players are regular participants in the worldwide phenomenon. Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts tight end even incorporates the game into a touchdown celebration dancing.



Fortnite isn't all roses and sunshine. The game has been accused of infringement for incorporating popular dance moves and is currently ensnared in lawsuits trying to determine if they're in violation of copyright laws or not. Fortnite has become so massive (or out of control depending on your viewpoint) that parents are hiring coaches to help their kids succeed in the virtual world. One of the great things about Fortnite Battle Royale is that it's free to download to any gaming system you're playing. V-Bucks can be used to purchase skins, pickaxes battle passes, gliders, and other items that are available in Fortnite Battle Royale. Fortnite Save the World is an alternative version of the game which players have to purchase. However, creator Epic Games says it'll become free to play in the year 2018.

The truth is that a typical shopping cart is an automobile in Fortnite terms. The golf cart is the only alternative vehicle currently available. Why is this? Epic Games expressed concern about the way that adding more vehicles to the game will affect the overall flow.



Season 4 witnessed the epic destruction of Dusty Depot by a meteor, effectively turning it into the Dusty Divot. All locations in the game use alliteration for their names like Loot Lake, Greasy Grove and so on.

Playground



Epic Games determines the time limits for LTM modes. Playground mode allows four players to practice the skills they use within the game. Playground mode lets players be killed, but they can respawn immediately, unlike regular game modes.



These pinatas are also known as "loot-llamas" and appear automatically in the game (only three locations in Battle Royale and 100 in Playground mode). They contain 200 materials from every resource including brick, wood and metal. They also contain explosives, potions, medical kits, and other useful items.



Fortnite's weapons are coded in accordance with the difficulty of finding them in the game. They also come with a descriptive name. In order of least to most rare they are: Common/Gray, Green/Uncommon, Blue/Rare, Gold/Legendary, Purple/Epic.



The game is known as "dance emotes" within the game, players can opt to dance anytime on the lobby or on the battlefield. In addition to "Fresh," which is based on "The Carlton,"" players can also perform choreography such as "The Worm,"" "Take the L" and "Disco Fever,"" inspired by John Travolta's iconic "Saturday Night Fever" moves.

If you haven't seen anyone flossing, your eyes haven't been open. The dance was invented in 2016 by an unnamed YouTube star who was only 15 years old. He was dubbed "the backpack boy" and later performed the bizarrely captivating dance on Saturday Night Live with Katy Perry. Fortnite added the dance to its dance emotes, and it really made a splash.
