CorePack
CorePack is a client-side modpack that I have been using for a long time. This repo has the buildscripts required to package all the resources into an MultiMC instance zip.
Installation
It is easy to install. Install MultiMC and download the latest CorePack zip. Inside MultiMC add an instance and then select the downloaded ZIP file.
Post-install
After Minecraft is launched, you'll be required to enter the resource pack menu, and enable all packs that are incompatible. Modpacks can't load textures from earlier versions even though they're compatible.
