YouTuber and Minecraft Streamer Technoblade, 23, Dies from Cancer

YouTuber and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has died at the age of 23 after a long battle with cancer of stage 4.



The content creator from San Francisco who kept his identity a secret until revealing his name in the final video "Alex" became famous after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft online in 2013. He eventually gained more than 10 million subscribers.



He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in August. He spent the majority of the year away from the media being treated for cancer.



While it is not known what kind of cancer Alex was suffering from, he went on to raise funds for sarcoma charities and in December, Alex revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove a tumor on his arm.



His father who is not publicly well-known, shared the sad announcement of his son's death with his numerous followers in a video uploaded today to Technoblade's YouTube channel. The video was titled "So long nerds" and included a posthumous farewell message from the YouTube star.



He called his son "the most incredible child" and shared an audio recording of his son. https://safeminecraftmods.com/ He said that if he could have another hundred lives, he'd prefer to be Technoblade once more , because they were the best years of my life.

Technoblade who was extremely private and never divulged personal details about his life. He mostly uploaded videos about the Sandbox game Minecraft.



He had three younger sisters and a brother named Chris as well as a dog named Floof, who featured in his video of his final farewell with his father.



In one of his videos, he admitted that his parents were divorced and he lived with his father who owns a film studio.



After graduating from high school, he sat out a gap year before moving to Chicago where he attended college to study English major.

After dropping out He returned to San Francisco.



He explains in one his videos how he started the Tecnoblade channel to gain confidence and get 10 million subscribers.



He quickly amassed an audience of millions and shared with them numerous videos of him playing Minecraft but he never revealed his identity or name to his fans.



In August, however, he shared the shocking news of his cancer diagnosis in a YouTube video entitled 'Where I've been'. It has since been viewed 13 million times.



In the video, he explained to fans he had been diagnosed with cancer following a thought he had an arm injury in the final days of July, my right arm started to hurt quite a lot.'



The content creator (seen at left) who was not revealing his name or identity prior to when the final video was uploaded was diagnosed with cancer stage 4 last year.



He thought it was a stress injury from his gaming habits and took several days off before realizing that it wasn't going to go away.
