What is a botnet?
A botnet is a collection of internet-connected devices, which may include computers, smartphones, IoT gadgets, that are infected and controlled by a common kind of malware. Botnets can be used to bring out a large range of destructive activities, including distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, click scams, and spam.
