GitHub - Docker/awesome-compose: Awesome Docker Compose Samples

A selection of Docker Compose samples.

These samples provide a starting point to integrate various services using the Compose file and to manage their deployment using Docker Compose.

Note : The following examples are intended to be used in local development environments, such as project setups, playing around with software stacks and so on. These samples should not be used in production environments.

Examples of Docker Compose apps that integrate multiple services. Single service examples. Basic setups for various platforms (not production ready, but useful for personal use).

These instructions will guide you through the bootstrap phase for creating and deploying containers using Docker Compose.

Ensure that Docker and Docker Comppose are installed on Windows or macOS. Install Docker Desktop - Linux: First install Docker, then Docker Compose

A sample

The root directory of each sample includes compose.yaml, which describes the settings of the component of the service. All of the samples can be run in a local environment by navigating to the root directory of each and then running:

To know more about the structure of the application and the expected output, please go to the README.md for each sample. To stop the application that is running the sample and to remove all containers, execute:
