Admincraft: Minecraft Server Talk for Serious Developers and Administrators

Hi, I have an issue with I suppose hackers. I'm scared.

I was playing on a spigot servers I run with my friends. I was just two people online playing when someone randomly logged in. I asked him who it was, and he immediately logged out. Then I received an email stating that I tried to log into the server but was unsuccessful and attempted to login. Then I knew that there was something wrong and ran to my puffer panel where I found my server and turned off. I could see in the console that I was logged in once more and another user was also logged in, so I gave him the option.

Since I've only managed survival servers with friends I am still a novice at server management. I'm not knowledgeable about server management so I don't know what I should do. What can I do to stop another episode from happening? What can I do? I have changed my Microsoft password, but I don't know how to use it.

Anyone with an idea can express it. Adobe Express allows you to quickly create unique content using thousands of beautiful templates.

How do you stay active and participate on the server while you're also responsible for adminning?

Title says it all but the question is how do you keep yourself motivated and interested in playing on servers that you run while also being responsible for maintaining, configuring fixing shit or resolving disputes. ?

Longer version:

My first server was set up for my community about 6 to seven months ago. We've had three since then and most recently I moved from multiverse to a new network set up in order to spread the load and run things more efficiently. I've been playing in a hardcore universe that I set up (still on the network, so I can chat and stuff but not in our main survival server) more than I do on the survival server.

One of my mods mentioned that servers go down when their owner isn't active. It's been giving me anxiety since she said it. I've observed that the more I play, the more players do and the reverse is true. Some of this may be due to the fact that I'm a streamer, so folks are a part of the community to stream or engaging with me and my content and not only the server, but I'm struggling.

The only time I engage/play is when I make something new or add new things I'm currently working on a more rpg/mmo style server that has custom mobs, quests, dungeons, and all that, but it just feels like joining existing servers is about asking solving problems and addressing questions for players, and not having fun.

Any help would be would be appreciated) Really struggling here.

Home Minecraft modded server

Hi.

I'm thinking of running an upgraded Minecraft server from home. It will be private, with the exception of a few friends I have, and my girlfriend. (6-7 in total) I have an old PC, but it seems like the processor has gone. It's an old 1150 socket with 16 gb of ddr 3 ram. More I would choose the i5 4690 processor as it has the highest performance for my money. Could it run newer version servers, for example, 1.16.5 forge server with 50-120 mods maximum, and vanilla's latest version server? (not at the same time)

We appreciate your help.

Luckperms 1.16.5 Forge

If not is there a Luckperms Version available for 1.16.5 Forge?
