As we approach the celebration associated with this Memorial Day in 2013, may we consider where it has come from and that means. Memorial Day was originally referred to Decoration Night. It was started after the Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in that, our costliest conflict. In the 20th century common history was changed to Memorial Day as well as the honors were also extended to include all Americans who died while in military use.
It is sad observe people of which are afraid to develop old, not because of losing their youth, but because it is bringing them closer to death. The worry can become so great that it robs them of time they have left.
Other folks keep memorabilia like athletics, football, swimming or golf trophies. Or they have traveled or led a lively business life and your house or office is involving tchotchkes. Could possibly film or photograph items and add them towards funeral slide show.
I prefer to start any strategic planning meeting by asking for that numbers. Heard about did cell phone ring? How many of those became a call for one's firm? How many of those determine have a visitation and/or memorial agency? How many of those families referred others to your funeral domicile?
