Overview
MultiMC is a different launcher for Minecraft. It lets you run multiple, separate instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods, resource packs, saves and so on) and helps you manage them and their associated options with a simple and powerful interface.

MultiMC is reliable and will perform what you tell it to do. Fine control over Java settings and runtimes. Each instance has settings that you can enable on top of the global settings. MultiMC game logs include additional information that can be used to determine issues and are color coded. - Support for running old versions exactly as they were released, instead of relying on compatibility hacks. - Quickly kill Minecraft when it freezes or crashes. MultiMC is extremely light and runs in the background. It also monitors the game even when the computer has less memory. Installation is simple for all common mod loaders - Forge and Fabric as well as LiteLoader and likely more incoming. yurock.net Minecraft world and resource/texture pack management. Import and export of Minecraft instances to share them with anyone. Import modpacks imported from different platforms like Modrinth, CurseForge and FTB (via import from FTB App), Technic, ATLauncher and FTB legacy. The more, the better.

Download and install
Choose the download for your operating system below, then extract the archive to a different folder and run it. Make sure that you make it executable for you if you're using Linux.

MultiMC requires Qt5 to be installed on linux. If you don't have it you may need to install the following packages according to the the distribution:
- Arch: qt5-base - OpenSuse: libqt5-qtbase - CentOS/Fedora/RHEL: qt5-qtbase - Ubuntu/Debian: libqt5core5a libqt5network5 libqt5gui5

Source Code
MultiMC is based upon the code that is available on GitHub. The source code is only available to facilitate collaboration. The only difference between binary distribution and code is the addition of branding and API keys required to operate the launcher and also the packaging-related adjustments.
