For IT administrators - get Minecraft: Education Edition

When you sign up for a Minecraft: Education Edition trial, or purchase a Minecraft: Education Edition subscription, Minecraft: Education Edition will be added to the inventory in your Microsoft Admin Center which is linked to your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant. Only the administrators of your organization can see your Microsoft Admin Center.
If you don't have an Azure AD or Office 365 tenant, you can set up a free Office 365 Education subscription when you purchase Minecraft Education Edition. For more details, check out Office 365 Education plans and pricing.
Configurations for Microsoft 365 A3 and Microsoft A5 customers with 365.
Schools that have purchased Microsoft 365 A3 or Microsoft 365 A5 have an additional option for making Minecraft: Education Edition available to their students:
If your school has these products within your tenant, administrators may choose to enable Minecraft: Education Edition for students who use Microsoft 365 A3 or Microsoft 365 A5. From the menu left in Microsoft Admin Center, select Users. From the Users list, choose the users you wish to remove or add for Minecraft: Education Edition access. If the license hasn't been assigned Add the A3 or A5 license.
If you choose to add a faculty license then the user will be assigned an instructor position on the application and will have higher permissions.
After selecting the appropriate product license Make sure that Minecraft: Education Edition is toggled on or off depending on whether you'd like to add or remove Minecraft: Education Edition from the user (it will be on by default).
If you turn off this option after students have used Minecraft: Education Edition They will be able to use it for up to 30 more days to play Minecraft: Education Edition before they lose access.
How to get Minecraft Education Edition of Minecraft
Users in a Microsoft verified academic institution account will get access to the trial version of Minecraft for free. limited logins for Minecraft: Education Edition. Faculty accounts will get 25 free logins, and student accounts 10 free logins. To purchase direct licenses, go to Minecraft: Education Edition - direct purchase.
If you've been approved and part of the Enrollment for Education Solutions volume license program, you can purchase a volume license for Minecraft: Education Edition. For more details, visit Minecraft: Education Edition Volume license.
Minecraft: Education Edition Direct purchase
Go to https://education.minecraft.net/ and select
How to Buy
in the navigation bar at the top.
Scroll down and choose Buy Now for Direct Purchase.
This will route you to the purchase page in the Microsoft Admin center. Log in to your administrator account.
If required, please fill out any information regarding payment or your organization.
Select the number of licenses you would like to purchase, and then select Place an Order.
Once you have purchased your licenses you'll have to assign them users to the Admin Center.

Minecraft: Education Edition - volume licensing
Schools that are accredited by the Department of Education can purchase Minecraft: Education Edition licenses through their Microsoft channel partner. Schools need to be part of the Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) volume licensing program. Educational institutions should work with their channel partner to decide which Minecraft: Education Edition licensing program is most appropriate for their institution. The process looks like this:
The channel partner will send you a volume license request. Your licenses will be listed on the Volume Licensing Service Center and will be accessible in your Microsoft Store for Education. - You'll receive an email with the link to Microsoft Store for Education. - Sign in to Microsoft Store for Education to manage and distribute the Minecraft: Education Edition licenses. Minecraft: Education Edition payment options
You can pay for Minecraft: Education Edition with a credit or debit card, or with an invoice.
Credit or debit cards
During the purchase when you are ready to buy, click
Add a new payment method
. Enter the information required for your credit or debit card.
Invoices
Invoices are now an accepted payment method for Minecraft Education Edition. There are some requirements:
Administrators only (not supported by Teachers) - $500 minimum invoice for your initial purchase - $15,000 maximum invoice (for all invoices within the company)
To pay using an invoice
During the purchase, click Add a new payment method.
Choose the invoice option and fill in the necessary information to create an invoice. The PO number item allows you to include a tracking number or info that is meaningful to your business.

Distribute Minecraft
After Minecraft: Education Edition is added to your Microsoft Admin Center inventory, you can assign these licenses to your users or download the app.
