This Zelda Breath of the Wild Mod For Minecraft Absolutely Hyrules

The vast and lovely landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such a perfect match for Minecraft that someone built the entire BOTW map in the past year, but that was only a beginning point. Another pair of modders added some Zelda gameplay to the map using the Sheikah slate with all its capabilities, including a boomerang, and Sheikah towers. If you're sick to death of creepers exploding all your hard work, you can offer them an experience of their own misery with Link's remote-detonated bombs.



As spotted by PCGamesN As reported by PCGamesN, the Breath of the Wild datapack was created by modders Craiy and Joris and is quite cool.



The Bokoblin camps, which are quite frequent in Minecraft and the more rare Sheikah Towers that look like the massive spires Link climbs up over Hyrule are the most obvious features you'll encounter in your Minecraft world. Combating Bokoblins and capturing their Boko Stick clubs is a good start but your next priority should be crafting some ladders and climbing up to the top of a Sheikah tower. You'll then be able to grab the Sheikah multitool and start making havoc.



You can pick up and move blocks of metal like iron or copper using the magnesis function.

It would be fascinating to create an underwater base that only allows entry through cryonis Icepillars. I did attempt to channel my inner Link by dropping iron blocks on top of bokoblins, but they'll just slither through them and fall to the ground instead of causing damage. They didn't think I was trying to make them miserable.



The boomerang, hero's tunic , and hero's tunic may be rare but they're worth searching for. Craiy will go over all of this and more in the mod showcase video down below.



The current version is compatible with Minecraft 1.19. However, Craiy claims that they are working on an updated version of the BOTW Datapack.



Unfortunately, the person who created the impressive Breath of the Wild map from last year decided not to release it to download. It is better to keep an eye out for the one being developed by Grazzy. This is the datapack Craiy and Joris used as a showcase. I'm not sure you'd want to put them together, since Grazzy is building her own Sheikah towers and the BOTW datapack generates them in its own way as well, for what it's worth. Maybe you could even mix your Zeldas with the Wind Waker style you can see on our top Minecraft texture packs list.
