Description: Students must free seven members of a royal family from prison by using their order-of-operation abilities to create secret staircases. First, choose your character, then click on the first number, followed by its operator. The second number is the order of operations equation. For instance an example of a problem is 5 + 3 x 2 (6 - 4). The user needs to click the 6 first, the "-" next, and finally the 4 last. After the operator and two numbers have been clicked the program will determine the problem to solve. In this case, it is 6-4. If the student has solved the problem correctly the program will then show another step using the simplified problem 5 + 3x 2 2. The user will click the 3 followed by the "x" followed by the 2to continue. Gaming blog The resulting equation in the next step would be 5 + 6 - 2 and students would then solve the final two problems, before successfully rescuing the first of the royal family. This game is a fantastic practice in order of operations and one of the only GAMES online that reinforces these skills.
