WRUP: All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time to expose an aspect that many MMO players aren't aware of: All DPS players are sharks. If you're wondering how many DPS are addicted to the mantra of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for one minute means that these players will end up dying. They must continue swimming and killing. This is the kind of thing MMOs do to sharks. Don't ask how a shark is capable of typing or playing the game; just realize that a rogue who will not wait for the tank or the healer, or even the other DPS can't avoid doing what he does. He's a shark.



One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, but I'm unable to confirm or deny it. Maybe he or she announces his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP or maybe it's just a normal review of our weekend plans like we do every week. You'll never know until you've read the rest of the article however, you're encouraged to tell us what you're doing in the comments section whatever the case.



@Beau_Hindman: I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It is a fantastic single-player game and easily one of my most played games. So little time For MMORPGs I'm testing the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter I believe it is among the most beautiful and sounding MMOs currently available.



@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies, so I'll be leveling up some old toons and checking out some Pandaria dungeons I've never done. It's going to be enjoyable!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently playing in my side game slot, and while there are a variety of elements in there which I'm not entirely satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to complete and various endgame snarky jollities to take part in, so that'll be my main goal.



@Sypster - I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm in the pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep, so I'll probably try to play some additional scenarios in The Secret World and perhaps explore a bit of this World of Warcraft thing the kids are so hot about these days.



@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend include soup, schoolwork and in the event of luck -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself of the reasons why it was shut down and to reminisce about the amazing things that nearly kept me there until the servers end next month. Beyond that, I would love to get back into Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've been neglecting them for some time. Perhaps, just maybe, I'll cap some fools in Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'll be exploring the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also get back in World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me up in the air again.



@MJ_Guthrie - I intend to focus my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) Trying to get more done in the war of The Secret World on Filth. I am a sucker for the pet and bee suit so strongly that I don't even know how to earn enough tokens. But I will try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When not engaged in that I'll be slipping into a scenario or two and testing new builds. I will also be spending the weekend trying to decide which race to make my new Channeler in EverQuest II. The race has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Then, it will take me only 30 hours to customise the look. Then there is the name thing...



@RichieProcopio: This weekend I'll be drunk and hallucinating. I'm not planning the frat scene. I'll be visiting the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been up too in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!
