Grinshpun's business career began in 1994, when he got appointed the Regional Manager of Kazakhstan for "Universal Market Association", a company that was specialized in the production of oil and marketing metals worldwide. He was a part of Trans Commodities Incorporation a year later, where he served as the CIS managing the countries. Grinshpun was the regional manager of Kazakhstan in the "Universal Market Association" in 1994. This association focused on the production of oil, marketing metals around the world as well as other business-related activities. He was appointed CIS countries manager by Trans Commodities Incoration one year later.

He was appointed as the General Manager for the Moscow office of Trans Commodities in the USA in 1997. This enabled him to work for the world of metals. Mr. Grinshpun has business interests in several areas of activity in the Republic of Moldova.

He has been the fiduciary shareholder, President of the Council of Joint Stock Company "Alimcom", since 1998. The oldest and most well-known factory, and produces food product lines like vinegar, mayonnaise and mustard, as well as sunflower seed oil and Halvah.
