Đất nước có nhiều game thủ nhất, nhưng không phải trò chơi nào cũng có thể bình yên và may mắn.
Ấn Độ đã chính thức từ bỏ Free Fire sau khi cấm toàn bộ nội dung game và phiên bản nạp thẻ free fire MAX trên Android và iOS. Điều này bao gồm Cửa hàng tải xuống của Google Play và Cửa hàng ứng dụng. Hai năm sau khi PUBG Mobile bị cấm, Free Fire hiện đã được tự do quay trở lại quần đảo.
Free Fire cũng được tạo ra bởi một nhà phát triển Trung Quốc. PUBG Mobile của Tencent là một ví dụ. Garena sở hữu bản quyền nạp free fire trên toàn thế giới. Mặc dù là một trò chơi cực kỳ phổ biến, Free Fire vẫn bị cấm và Garena kiếm được một khoản tiền kha khá từ nó.
Khi nhìn lại thị trường Ấn Độ, rõ ràng nhiều game di động hàng đầu đã gặp vận rủi. PUBG Mobile chỉ là một trong số đó. Ngoài ra Liên Quân Mobile và Free Fire. Mọi game đều bị xóa hoặc không thể cạnh tranh với game đó (ví dụ Liên Quân Mobile).
Vào tháng 9 năm 2020, PUBG Mobile và 117 ứng dụng khác từ Trung Quốc đã bị cấm tại thị trường Ấn Độ. Tencent là nhà phát triển của nhiều trò chơi và ứng dụng. Tiếp theo là Free Fire và hàng chục ứng dụng khác bị ảnh hưởng bởi lệnh cấm. Những cái tên nổi tiếng như Badlander and Rise of Kingdoms, Lost Crusade hay bom tấn MOBA Onmyoji Arena đều nằm trong số những ứng dụng bị cấm.
Mọi nhà phát triển trò chơi nên biết rằng Ấn Độ là một thị trường béo bở. PUBG Mobile và Free Fire cực kỳ phổ biến và có công với Tencent (trước) và Garena (bây giờ).
Như đã nói ở trên, Free Fire có vẻ không công bằng vì nó được tạo ra bởi một nhà phát triển game Trung Quốc. Free Fire thực chất được phát triển tại Việt Nam bởi 111dots Studio. Nó đã được Garena phân phối trên toàn thế giới trong nhiều năm. Nếu Garena mất thị trường Ấn Độ, doanh thu và tham vọng của Garena sẽ bị ảnh hưởng. Tuy nhiên, trừ khi Garena chứng minh nạp thẻ ff là có thật, còn không thì vẫn chưa rõ liệu trò chơi có quay trở lại trong thời gian tới hay không. Chúng ta chỉ cần chờ đợi.
