For many, the most significant drawback of Minecraft's Pocket and Windows 10 Editions has been the absence of community content. What's the point of playing Minecraft on your phone if cannot play with that awesome new texture pack you saw on your PC? This is your chance to try it. Mojang and Microsoft have created a Marketplace that allows Pocket and Windows 10 gamers to download content from community creators. This includes skins, textures and entire worlds. Instead of buying paid content, you can purchase "Minecraft Coins" which permit you to buy the accessories you want. It's supposed to help developers set "flexible prices," although it also helps mask the value of what you're buying. You may not want to give your children unrestricted access to the internet, for instance.
The Marketplace lets creators register businesses only. It will not allow you to register your project solely for entertainment. However, those who get in have the right to 70% of the revenue. This is similar to traditional mobile app stores. Even though they may not be able to earn as much directly, a merchant who is successful will still earn lots of money.

The Marketplace will initially be restricted in terms of access. The beta version of the Marketplace will be made available to the general public in the middle of April. There will be no creator content, and it will be waiting until the official launch in spring. This will still be able to bridge the gap between your Minecraft experience on mobile devices and those on computers.
